The inspiration behind desert bloom came from many ideas surrounding desert landscapes. When I think of a desert landscape, I think of isolation and drought-ridden scenery; but what fascinated me about this landscape is that it's not always this way. Things eventually begin to bloom even in the harshest climates. There's so much beauty in this desolation, and the skies are wide and full of color.
It's about finding those moments and little pops of color in the wild. It reminded me of the current times and the things we all do to stay connected, look at our lives differently, and begin to cherish the small things again. And like a desert after rain, we see growth again. We are re-entering the world with a new perspective.
